EV car products
I-beam front axles
These components are used in axles designed for light, medium, and heavy-duty trucks.
They connect the left and right tires while supporting the vehicle's weight, which can be as heavy as 25 tons. This is one of the most vital safety components, as the driver’s life depends on it.
To accommodate various vehicle classes, we manufacture products in a wide range of sizes, from 1500 to 1800 mm in total length and 30 to 120 kg in product weight.
We achieve high quality through efficient production using large automatic presses, which are rare in Japan, as well as technology backed by many years of experience.
Knuckles
These components are used in axles and steering systems for commercial vehicles and passenger cars.
Their role is to transmit steering wheel operations to the tires.
This is another one of the most vital safety components, as the driver’s life depends on it.
Weighing between 10 and 40 kg, these components take on distinctly different shapes depending on which of the two types of suspension systems (independent or axle-based) is used.
The complex shapes of these parts make them extremely difficult to forge, but by leveraging one of the best equipment lineups in Japan, we are able to produce them at the optimum cost for each shape.
Hub and rotor assemblies
Hub and rotor assemblies are components used in truck axles (in the undercarriage).
A hub is a component that connects the tire to the vehicle body.
The rotor is a major component of the brake system. The brake pads are pressed against the rotor to slow the vehicle.
We manufacture hubs and rotors for light-duty trucks and some large and medium buses.
Because such safety-related components are so crucial, IJTT integrates all processes in-house, from material selection to machining and assembly (ASM), thereby maintaining a high level of quality.
Cylinder heads
Like the cylinder block, the cylinder head is also categorized as one of the key engine components known as the “5C parts.”
The interior of the cylinder head serves as the combustion chamber. The intake and exhaust ports, which function as the passages for air intake and exhaust, are also built into the cylinder head.
At the Kitakami Plant, we manufacture various types of cylinder heads tailored to each engine model, including four-cylinder and six-cylinder engines.

It forms the cylindrical part of the engine cylinders and houses major moving components such as the pistons and crankshaft.

Exhaust manifolds
An exhaust manifold is one of the components of the exhaust system, which is responsible for safely and efficiently discharging combustion gases as exhaust.
They are used in a wide range of engines for everything from vehicles to industrial and construction machinery.
They require heat resistance and durability due to the high temperature and demanding operating conditions.
Thanks to our capabilities in material research, development, and a range of testing and evaluation processes, IJTT is able to meet customer requirements by manufacturing various types of prototypes and mass-produced items, including exhaust manifolds.
Rocker arm
The rocker arm is an important component that opens and closes the intake and exhaust valves of the engine.
IJTT manufactures these products in a wide range of variations designed for diesel engines with displacements of 2 to 16 liters, which are installed in commercial vehicles and industrial machinery.
Propeller shafts
Mainly used in 4WD and FR vehicles, a propeller shaft is a rotating shaft that transmits driving force to the differential gear.
We manufacture a wide variety of propeller shafts mainly at our sites in Asia through an integrated manufacturing process that covers everything from design and development to mass production.
We also offer a lineup of vibration-damping devices that suppress vehicle vibration and noise, designed for a wide range of vehicles, from passenger cars to large commercial vehicles.

This component serves as the case for the differential (short for differential gear), which is one of the final drive parts.
We manufacture these in various sizes, suitable for applications ranging from commercial vehicles to wheel loaders and mining dump trucks.

Thanks to its compact design, which enables efficient driving of electric vehicles (EVs), the component has entered the spotlight as a core technology for next-generation mobility.
IJTT develops its drive systems entirely in-house, from motors to drive shafts. We also offer systems combined with drive shafts in accordance with customer requirements.

Construction Machinery Components
Industrial diesel engines
Industrial diesel engines are the pillar of industrial machinery that sustains social infrastructure.
They are mainly used for wheel loaders, hydraulic excavators, and generators.
IJTT produces a wide variety of industrial diesel engines with four to six cylinders (2.2 to 6.5L).
We also have experimental facilities that allow us to conduct various evaluation tests in-house, including exhaust gas and durability tests.

Robots parts
This component is part of the body of industrial vertical articulated robots, such as those used in automobile production lines. It supports the robots’ joints.
The heavier the objects gripped and carried by the robot, the greater the required strength and rigidity. As such, cast-iron components are used extensively in large robots.
IJTT casts these products using large automated molding machines.
